I am so damn excited for this, I could cry.

It's kind of annoying that my last class of the day doesn't get out until 4:00pm, though. Basically, it just means that I have to pack up my car after class lets out, and that I get to drive home in the oh-so-wonderful 5 o'clock Westminster traffic. Ew.

But I get to go home, finally, and that's what matters the most. I need this break so much, even if it's only for a few days.

So, yeah, hi. It's been a while since the last time I posted, hasn't it? And I have new friends from the k-pop friend meme to say hi to! Welcome to my journal, I suppose? It's not very interesting.

Over the weekend, I turned in my 15-page thesis rough draft, and not having that hanging over my head has helped my mood wonders. In terms of what is left for the semester... just a 5 to 7 page critique, and another 5 page history paper. A few mini-lab reports. Oh, and finals. Can't forget about those. But in general? Life is a lot better right now.

Too. Cute. Seriously. Grown men should not be this adorable. Irei, never change ♥ And do more things that come out on DVD, please.

I love Taeyang's "Wedding Dress" MV, so much. And the song. But the video! It's gorgeous! And so sad. A little bit cliche, but I love me some cliches, so I don't mind at all.

I've been writing more fanfic recently in class, because lol, free time? What's that? Spirit medium!Geng is in the middle of its third chapter, and secret!ShiHan+QMi (with a plot that asmilewaiting is going to make fun of me so hard for writing an AU about) is in the middle of its second, but gaining a lot more speed than the ghost AU, despite the fact that I started that one first. If things go the way they've been going, I should be able to start putting secret!ShiHan+QMi up a little after break. Check ategoto for updates /pimps.

I've also been trying to catch up on RP and the TCG. Hopefully, I'll be able to slide back into the things... and then finals will happen. DX; Well, it'll be a nice two or so weeks?

There's more to spam you about but most of it is just me going "akjdfh I love Geng/Siwon/ZhouMi/Henry/SJ-M in general" and no actual substance.

So... other than that. Yeah. I had a bunch of stuff that I wanted to write about throughout the week, but most of it was just things like "Man, I really love Siwon's face" and "Zhou Mi is so fabulous, idek." I swear I have better things to talk about than that. Not really.

SJ-M, I love you guys to death, and I'm really glad you're getting to release your mini-ablum in Japan, but do you have to do it just like every Japanese artist, and have two different expensive, because dammit this is Japan versions of the same thing?

I'm assuming it's the Super Girl mini-album, which I already have the Hong Kong version of, but I want the DVD for the CD+DVD version with Chinese lessons from the members (even though more than half of them don't really speak Chinese, and Geng speaks with a strong dialect/accent, so it'll probably be "Chinese Lessons with Zhou Mi", lol) *.* And then, of course, I want the CD-only version if the two extra tracks are going to be Super Girl and Blue Tomorrow in Japanese :/ (nothing is confirmed, though.) Why do my fandoms do this to me?

Umm. Nothing else to talk about except that Irei should really learn how to update his blog >_>;; Oh, and Garantido's official site is up here, and probably has been for some time, but I haven't had a chance to go looking for it.

I'm absolutely in love with this video, I don't even know how to express it. It's simple, but beautiful, and the colours are perfect and if you ignore Siwon's pants everyone looks great. *.* I've always thought the song was gorgeous, and I'm so glad it's the one they picked to promote.

SJ-M have been what's kept me going the past few weeks. I don't know how I'd be managing without them to brighten up my day.

Especially with the D-BOYS blogs taken down. I can understand why WE did it, but still. That was pretty much the only way I had to keep tabs on what was going on with the boys. It's true that I was kind of falling out of that fandom anyways, but this is sort of like the final kick out of the door. It makes me sad, too, because that's one of the whole reasons I started learning Japanese in the first place: so that I could understand their blogs :/

This weekend, my homework is to read the entirety of Shadow Family, which is actually a pretty quick read, about 100 pages for history, and to finish Soseki's Kokoro. Then I have two 3-4 pagers, one for SF and one for Kokoro, and I have to work on my 15 page thesis (but thank Shisus, Hogan-sensei gave us a week extension!) *buckles down on work load*

I'm really wondering if I should just drop out of the TCG and RPing :/ I feel bad just taking up space at both places. But if I were to hiatus, I'd probably never end up coming back, because at this point, I'm pretty sure none of this is going to get any better. Even next semester, my course load isn't any easier. Idk. I'll give myself a little more time to think about it.

My dad is back from Japan! :D He bought me socks. Random souvenir. Next month he's going to Seoul for a week :o First Japan, now Korea?! Why does my dad get to go everywhere I want to go? /jealous. Also, my mom mailed me Girl Scout cookies 8DD *hoards Tagalongs*

Halloween was moderately uneventful, but still fun. We decorated cookies and baked a cake ♥ I hope everyone else had a really good Halloween, too ^^

I spent what felt like the entire weekend doing homework, and yet it still feels like I didn't even make a dent. I guess this just means that I have to work harder.

I finished the application process for the internship at my father's work. Hopefully all goes well :/ I wanted to apply for the language internship, but they weren't hiring for Japanese, so I had to apply to a different department. Ahh~ I really hope I get it, though, even if it's not Japanese, because I'm not sure I can do another summer at K-Mart.

After I applied, I spent way too long browsing the internet for other summer internships, in case this one falls through. But of course there aren't very many available for Japanese majors, lol. As expected. I sort of expanded my horizons to just teaching ESL, since that's probably what I'll end up doing after I graduate anyways, and some work experience might be helpful. The majority of the internships for that are overseas, which I really don't mind at all, because I want to travel so much (there were so many available for China! I'd really love to go there this summer *.*) but I'm not sure my parents will agree to, considering I'll be spending all of the next academic year in Japan anyways :/ Hm. Well, something will work out, I'm sure.

This might be a long shot, but does anyone know of any good websites to help students find internships? Or know of a place that would hire me? >_>;

I failed at life today, and passed out all over my 120+ pages of History readings. It was like "Oh, I'll just lay my head down for a moment before I start the next chapter..." and then the next thing I know, it's about an hour and a half later, and Sheng is standing over me like "Are you guys dead or something?" :| Remind me not to fall asleep with the door open again.

Also, H1N1 is going around campus again, and so many more people I know have it this time. Including (possibly) one of my housemates :| I swear to God, if I get sick again... destruction will be happening.

It's been raining on and off all day, and as a result I've been way too exhausted all day. I managed to catch a nap from, like, 9pm to 10:30pm, which was a bad idea, because now I'm so groggy and out of it @.@

At least we've finally finished with our paramecium lab \o/ I didn't mention it before, but for lab all last week, our group had to go back every day for about an hour to count paramecium. Now all that's left for it is the lab report :| Do not want. But~ in good news, Ashleigh and I managed a 90% on our last lab report :D Now if only I could bring up my lecture quiz grades...

We also got our midterm for Japanese back today. I got an A, but it was a low A. Her grading was more than a bit ridiculous, though. Her taking off for not knowing kanji that we haven't actually learned yet was frustrating, and then just random taking off points on the last section and not saying why more than a little ticked me off. Ugh.

I've forgotten if I mentioned it earlier, but I got an 87% on my Modern Japan midterm, which was a lot better than I expected :D

Irei hasn't updated his blog in over a week :/ Actually, a lot of the boys that I follow haven't been updating recently. Except Mao. KEEP UP WITH THE PICTURES OF YOU AND DAISUKE, PLEASE. I guess it's just a busy time of the year for everyone.

I started listening to BEAST a bit more a few days ago, and I actually really like them. Yeah, the "Bad Girl" MV was kind of stupid, but the song was really catchy :D I think I like blondie Yoseob the most so far, but Dongwoon is awesome, too. I'm excited to see more from this group!

It's Parents' Weekend at the college this weekend, so Ashleigh's parents came up to visit. It's been really nice getting to know them :D They're very awesome. Actually, Ashleigh's mom bought Han Geng and his supplies for me *.* I'm so thankful!

Ashleigh got a betta fish, too. A beautiful white-ish one that she named Eeteuk :D He's really gorgeous, too.

Today was busy but it was nice. We went out to Chambersburg, to go to Target and to Petsmart, and then later we went to the Outlets. Even though I probably shouldn't have been spending any money, there was a really nice sale at Old Navy and I couldn't help myself :x But I managed pretty well :D $30 got me two long sleeve shirts, two t-shirts, a skirt, and some tights.

And now I'm utterly exhausted.

I spent the entire morning in a good mood because of this video. Seriously. Not because of the Krystal and Jessica at the beginning, even though it is cute, but because OMG Key and Amber speaking English together in the most fantastic way possible. And random zoom-in's on Jonghyun's Hello Kitty laptop. I love Key so, so much. "My body is so hot... 'cause I'm so hot :D" This boy needs to stop being younger than me. Also, Amber is so amazing. She's definitely my favorite f(x) member. Now if only Henry could have joined in the English conversation...

But then my good mood was ruined by the 60% I got on the last Bio quiz. >_0;; There's another on Friday, so I guess I'll just have to study extra hard to make up for this last one.

Thankfully, though, I got an extension of my literature bibliography and outline until next week. Now I don't have to worry about doing that on top of my mini-thesis, and studying for my Bio quiz and Japanese midterm.

I swear, every time I feel like I'm all caught up on school work, even more comes crashing down on me. I can't wait for this semester to be over.

AIDA is getting a DVD release :DDDD Except... 8,400 yen? There is no way I can afford that. I really, really want to support Irei by buying it and thus be able to see him shirtless quite a lot 8D; but it'll have to wait a while. :/

Also, "I'm in a Box" had me laughing way too much.

By the way, new AIM screen name = gentle mimi. Not that I plan to stop using my hoikikumaru account, but when I was watching Happy Camp and it got to Zhou Mi and his "You know Lady Gaga? I should be Gentleman Mimi :D" part, I couldn't stop myself. Although I refuse to have 'man' in my sn, because I don't want to throw people off. Luckily, even the MCs were shortening it to "Gentle Mimi" Besides, Mi is what lyuna calls me, so it wasn't too far out. IM me on that sn now? ♥

Today! daelite, lifeup, asmilewaiting, Kanako-sensei, and I went down to Baltimore's Inner Harbor to walk around, and show Kanako-sensei some of America outside of Gettysburg. Despite the non-stop rain, it was a lot of fun \o/ We wandered around the Gallery (where I bought the cutest sweater :D), went to the lighthouse, ate lunch, and in general, just had a good time. ♥

SJ-M on Happy Camp~! The episode finally aired, and it's up on YouTube now. :3 Yes, I was stalking around for it all day. It was hilarious :D As if SJ-M are capable of being anything else. I love them sfm.

Best part was the musical chairs, and subsequent punishments. Han Geng and Siwon are so married, the way each time someone said something about Geng, they'd run up together, grab the person, and start spanking him. =D Also, Henry's definitely getting cheekier and cheekier. I love that boy.

Did anyone else's heart melt a bit hearing Siwon say "so so sexy" in English? especially since he was talking about Han Geng's body :DDD Mine did. :x I want to hear him speak more English. He and Henry should totally talk together. That'd be hot :D

Mixed feelings on SHINee's "Ring Ding Dong" MV now that it's finally out. The song has really grown on me, and the video, too, but there are parts of it... Well, at least Key rocks that hell out of that video :D To think that he was the one whose new image I was most worried about, and yet he looks the best here. And Minho! Aside from the "let's dance on top of water around a car" scenes, Minho was looking damn fine. So I guess I liked the video :D Still not really understanding the concept, but it's all good.

I have a chapter test in Japanese tomorrow. WHEN DID THAT HAPPEN. :| Truthfully, I was too busy being all "omgmidtermsandpapers" to remember it until Taniguchi-sensei mentioned it in class. Oh well, the grammar and kanji are easy, so I really only need to study the vocab. It shouldn't be too difficult :D

In terms of papers... all I have left is to write a mini-thesis on Rashoumon, and I need to do my works cited for my Meiji paper. All of this will happen tomorrow, of course. Because procrastination = awesome.

I've already rec'd lysapadin's "The Otohime's Revenge" so this time I think I'll recommend...

"For Always" by coley_merrin, which immediately after I started reading, stole the top spot of being my favorite fanfiction. It's long, beautifully written. Everyone is so perfectly done, and there is a legit plot that winds through the whole story. Yes, there are times when it's completely cliche and cheesy, but you get so emotionally involved that those places will have you squeeing in delight :D I love love LOVE this story, and I've reread it so many times ♥

Today was a day for attempting to catch up on school work. And failing. Well, I did manage to finish my mini-critique, and I got another page in on my History paper (and will hopefully get one more page in it by tonight,) but I still haven't written anything on Souseki. And I've sort of been blatantly ignoring my Biology readings.

This semester needs to gtfo, for serious.

For dinner, Ashleigh and I cooked Beijing fried rice, because we wanted to channel our inner Han Geng or something. It turned out quite well for a first attempt :D But I guess it's a pretty easy dish, so there's not much to screw up, huh? Also, frying rice in a wok > frying pierogis in a wok. Lesson learned.

I'm a hardcore QMi and ShiHanChul shipper and all, but those pictures were totally tugging on my heartstrings. So adorable ♥

Mixed feelings on SHINee's upcoming comeback. Another mini-album? :/ I really want another full album from them, please. And the teaser for the song wasn't that great, but hopefully the video will at least be better than Juliette's. And the new image of the group is really interesting. Some of them look really hot (AKDFJ JONGHYUN <3) but... Key's hair is a little... >_0;; Maybe when his individual pictures make to the internet, I'll like it better. I didn't think I'd like Onew's, but now that his individual shots are up, I really like it.

Even though I'm desperately behind on Shinkenger (speaking of, did anyone else get the message from the Facebook group/check TV-Nihon about the letters people were getting because of downloading the episodes? Weird) and I haven't finished Stage of Youth or Super Adonis Camp, I've started watching this drama called "Spring Waltz" and it's absolutely amazing. It's so beautifully filmed, and the colours are so vibrant, it's really pretty :D I'm so in love with the character of Phillip. And Eunyoung! She's so pretty and sweet :D I even like Jaeha a lot, too, even if he's such a jerk to just about everyone. And Siwon's character whose name I totally cannot remember <3 But I've only seen a little bit of him so far, since he's such a minor character at the moment.

Ah, it's not that I have much time to watch anything at the moment, though, and I probably shouldn't be falling so hard for this drama. But I did get a lot of school work done today! I still have three papers to write, though .___. I'll get everything done by Wednesday. Hopefully.

Tomorrow or Monday, Ashleigh and I are going to go to this asian market in Ellicott City. I'm excited :D I've only been there a few times before, but they have such interesting stuff! Also, tomorrow, I'm hopefully going to be able to see my beloved xxsweetbloodxx before she goes back to College Park <3

I'm so glad that it's fall break right now. I really, really needed this.

So I'm on my way home for Reading Days (basically, it's my college's fall break) with asmilewaiting. I'm not even out of Gettysburg before another car pulls up next to me, and the driver leans out the window and goes "... you know your back right tire is really low, right?" After which I pull into the nearest 7-11, and sure enough, it's gone flat. That was fun.

After a panicked call to my parents, I filled it up with some air, and drove down to Westminster, where I had to fill it up again. But after that, I got home okay. Still. Stupid car.

Also, on our way down, I noticed that a red light that I accidentally ran last Saturday has a red light camera. Greaaat. Hopefully it was turned off or something :/ I know I made a mistake, but I'd rather not have to pay the ticket.

In happier news, I got an 89% on my Biology midterm! :D That's a lot better than I had expected, so I'm really happy.

I'm finished with midterms until the 22nd (which is my Japanese midterm,) and I was hoping that would give me more time for fandom, but instead my teacher's are piling on the papers. Ugh. More work.

My phone's been on the fritz since last Friday. I think it deleted my contact list :/ So I lost everyone's number >_<;; If I can, I'd like to take it somewhere while I'm home this weekend, and see if they can salvage anything. T-Mobile really needs to stop failing me so much lately.

So adding to the list of celebs with the H1N1, it looks like about half of Eito, and Shirota Yuu caught it. DX; I hope Shirotan didn't spread it to the D-BOYS. And lastly~ I was stamped as Donghae at suju_rating! I don't really see how I'm like Donghae at all but then I was also stamped as Shirota at tenimyu_rating, which was a bigger "wtf" but that boy is all kinds of awesome, so I don't mind at all.

I was busy all weekend, and not all of it was school work :D I took a well-deserved break, and went with asmilewaiting to a koi and goldfish show in Westminster, which was all kinds of cool, and then we visited my parents and were fed cookies :D

Saturday night was this sort of lame benefit concert for VH1's Save the Music. Except it wasn't lame at all when I was with my friends, and we were getting into balloon fights. We made SuJu balloons <3 They were awesome.

And I went to my first frat party, too. Yeah, I never actually expected to go to one in my whole college career, either, but there you go. I didn't drink, and all I did was dance, but it was pretty fun.

And then Max and I broke up.

Weird weekend was weird. Anyways.

My copy of SJ-M's Super Girl came in today, finally :DDD I don't see how it got such mixed reviews! I loved it. But then, my SJ-M bias is massive, so I'm not a very good judge. I just have to say Henry's English opening in "Confession" (which is totes misspelled 'Congession' on the back of my CD,) is pretty special, but what makes it even better is that Zhou Mi was the one who wrote the lyrics to that song. Which means he probably asked Henry for English help. Which in turn probably means that Henry, fluent-in-English Henry, was the one that came up with those ridiculously cheesy lines. I bet he did it for the lulz.

Sheng, while playing My Chinese Coach: "WHAT THE FUCK IS THIS, THIS DOES NOT EXIST IN OUR LANGUAGE." Maybe I should find a different DS game to teach me Chinese.

History midterm on Thursday. I'll try not to die before then =.=

I had intended to update last night, but then LJ decided to go under maintenance. Lame.

I just got back from my first major exam of the semester. Biology :/ It went okay. It could have been a lot worse! Of course, there were still questions where I really had no idea what was going on, but I'm pretty sure I got at least a low B. I hope, anyways ^^

Isn't it weird how fast time is passing? I feel like the semester just started, but I'm already taking midterms. It's so weird! But I kind of want this semester to get over quickly. So far, it's been a lot more stressful than last year.

Both Kanesaki and Teukie were ill this week, weren't they? DX; I'm glad they are both feeling better, but I hope they get to take better care of themselves.

Also, I hope all of my friends over in the Philippines are doing okay! Those storms sound so frightening, and the damage they caused is scary. I hope recovery efforts go quickly, and everything returns to normal soon.

Tomorrow! Ashleigh and I are going to a goldfish/koi show/exhibit in Westminster. Since that's so close to my house, I'll stop home for a little while. I desperately need to pick up more clothes. Because I'm too lazy to do laundry >_>

I still have a lot of homework, and a few exams left, but at least with the Bio exam over, I'm feeling a lot less stressed out ^_^ Maybe I'll have time to catch up on fandom? I'm a whole two episodes behind on Shinkenger. How did that even happen? DX;;
